An organic blend of AOC Vacqueyras from very old vines of the appellation!

90/100 - DECANTER
"Floral, pretty and neat, with good purity of fruit. Smooth on the palate, the acidity, fruit and tannin all balanced. Well played for such a tricky year. Much better than most and will last longer than most 2021s. Fermented in concrete, aged for 12 months in barrel, no new oak."

89-92/100 - JEB DUNNUCK
"Lastly, the 2021 Vacqueyras has outstanding potential. Based on a blend of 80% Grenache and 10% each of Syrah and Mourvèdre, it has juicy cherry and blackberry fruits, some earthy, peppery nuances, medium body, ripe tannins, and a balanced, layered mouthfeel. It's impressive."

15/20 - ROBINSON

Terroir

Each grape variety in this blend comes from different terroirs:

  • Syrah comes from clay and limestone as well as clay alluviums
  • Grenache comes from 60+ year old vines planted on terraces of rolled pebbles
