Using organic farming methods, this Vacqueyras is a natural wine crafted with no frills and fancies, no makeup allowing the vine and the fruit to express themselves. This approach is in line with our desire to preserve the purity of the fruit as much as possible.
Sight
Ruby with purplish highlights.
Smell
Fresh and fruity nose with powerful Morello cherry aromas.
Taste
Crisp and fresh with subtle black cherry aromas.
Some of the selected plots are located in « La Ponche » locality at an altitude of 130 meters, at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail Massif. The soil there is composed of clay and loam.
The other part of the selected plots is situated on the large terrace of the garrigues. The soil there is composed of limestone pebbles and gravels.
Vinification
Hand harvesting, destemming. Only the grenache grapes were crushed. Cold maceration followed by pressure exertion until partial fermentation arrest.
Aging
Aging under pressure exertion for three months, followed by the end of alcoholic fermentation during spring. Bottled in April 2024, immediately after malolactic fermentation.
