The Vinarium®: The secret behind our new cuvées

The Vinarium® is the birthplace of our two new cuvées: Intra and Extra!

Imagine a unique 7,000-liter vessel designed by Xavier Vignon and his team, combining wood and stainless steel to create perfect aging conditions: 100% humidity and zero oxygen exposure.

Inspired by underwater aging techniques, this method uses the wine as a maturation medium, preserving its purity and aromatic depth. This approach allows the wine to develop aromas and complexity found nowhere else.

Intra: The excellence of a white Châteauneuf-du-Pape

A unique multi-vintage wine

Intra is a multi-vintage white Châteauneuf-du-Pape, a harmonious blend of 40% clairette, 25% grenache blanc, 15% picpoul, 10% roussanne, 5% picardan, and 5% bourboulenc. The grapes are sourced from carefully selected parcels with northern exposure, ensuring freshness and acidity.

Innovative vinification and aging

Intra's vinification begins traditionally. The barrels are then submerged in the Vinarium® for thirty months, allowing the wine to develop complex aromas and exceptional depth.

Tasting notes

Intra has an intense golden-yellow color. The nose is characterized by woody, toasted aromas, dried fruits, and mirabelle plum notes. On the palate, the first impression is fresh and lively, with excellent acidity and a long, aromatic finish.

A wine built for longevity, it will continue to reveal its full richness and depth over time. 

Extra: The boldness of a white Côtes du Rhône

A rigorous terroir selection

Extra is a multi-vintage white Côtes du Rhône, consisting of 40% clairette, 30% grenache blanc, 20% roussanne, and 10% picpoul. The grapes are sourced from high-altitude parcels with rocky and clay-limestone soils, perfect for producing fresh and complex wines.

Vinification and aging

The vinification of Extra begins traditionally. The barrels are then submerged in the Vinarium® for an extended second fermentation of six to eight months. This method enhances the wine's aromas and complexity. Aging continues for twenty-four months in the Vinarium®, creating a perfect synergy between Intra and Extra.

Tasting notes

Extra is pale, clear, and yellow. Its delicately woody nose reveals notes of honey and pear. On the palate, the first impression is fresh and lively, with well-balanced acidity and a long, citrusy finish.

This wine is designed for aging and will continue to develop beautifully over time.
