The appellation's terroir is made up of a variety of soils, including pebbles, clay, limestone and gravel. These soil variations give the vineyards a richness and complexity that are reflected in the wines produced.

Sight
Dark and tiled red.

Smell
Aromas of fresh red fruits, violet, licorice and hint of roasting.

Taste
Supple and elegant structure with aromas of blackcurrant and hints of spice.

Terroir

A selection of plots on pebble and gravel soils, typical of the appellation. Some loess and granite slopes from the north.

Vinification and aging

Vinification

Harvest dates determined by daily tasting of the grapes.

Partial destemming.

Traditional fermentation in stainless steel and concrete vats at controlled temperature.

Aging

A large part of the blend is aged in vats for 9 to 12 months to preserve the freshness of the fruit, the rest in barrels to enhance the structure.
