The Fortune: Arcane Major associated with the time where everything is impermanence. Grenache makes up the majority of the blend, but the emphasis is placed on the expression of the Cinsault style.

93/100 - DECANTER
"Restrained nose, showing complex aromas of petrichor, redcurrant, smoked meats and earthy nuances. Elegant and harmonious on the palate."

Terroir

A blend from various appellations of the Southern Rhône Valley including Vacqueyras, Gigondas and Beaumes de Venise.

We focused on the diversity of the soils allowing a beautiful expression of the grapes: trias, limestone scree, clay and marl. And a diversity of ancestral clones from the Southern Rhône region.

Vinification and ageing

Vinification

The Cinsault were putted into vats and then bled to the extreme with an open draw-off for several days. This technique allows the enrichment of the wort with solid quantities of Cinsault, without bringing the liquid volume. Grenache bleeding was used to bring in the juice without any substance.

Fermentation and long maceration at moderate temperature, completed with little quantities of Mourvèdre.

Ageing

Aged for the major part of the blend in Wine Globes : 220 liters glass vats allowing vinification and ageing in small separate volumes.
